Guidewire BC Business Analyst 

Position Summary: 

As a Guidewire BC Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of digital transformation and core platform modernization programs for enterprise insurance clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and support cutting-edge solutions leveraging Guidewire platforms and other leading technologies. 

Key Responsibilities: 

– Deliver end-to-end project solutions within your area of specialization (e.g., configuration, integration, testing, business analysis, support). 

– Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical and functional designs. 

– Develop and configure applications using Guidewire tools, technologies, or related platforms. 

– Support integration with enterprise systems, including third-party APIs and vendor solutions. 

– Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and business users in agile environments. 

– Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and deployment processes. 

– Contribute to documentation, training materials, and support processes. 

– Follow best practices in secure development, scalability, and maintainability. 

Required Experience & Qualifications: 

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 

– 4–7 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years in the insurance or Guidewire ecosystem. 

– Deep understanding of core systems such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or related tools. 

– Familiarity with industry-specific methodologies (Agile, SAFe, DevOps). 

– Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

– Guidewire certifications or equivalent hands-on experience. 

– Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. 

– Familiarity with SmartCOMM, Jutro, DevConnect, or other Guidewire frameworks. 

– Experience integrating with tools such as Salesforce, DocuSign, ISO, or fraud analytics platforms.

– Projects typically involve mission-critical transformation of legacy systems and high visibility programs.
